Whatever May Come (Reprise) Chords / Audio (Transposable):

Intro
D E F#m

Verse
spoken throughout D D E F#m F#m A
In Daniel chapter three, three young adults are faced
With what appears to be a hopeless situation.
They face death not for doing the wrong thing
But for doing the right thing, you see,
In the face of this uncertainty, what I find powerful
Is that they had the audacity to say these two words, Even If
even if God doesn't show up how we hope and believe
He's going to show up, we are still going to choose
To worship Him, that's crazy faith to me. That's a faith
That chooses to stay fixed on Who and not what. You see
They didn't know how God was going to come through, they
Didn't know what was going to happen. They knew Who had
The ability to change it. They stayed fixed on Jesus.
The Who in their life who could do the miracle
The Who could sustain them, the Who that could protect them
And deliver them. The odds were against them, but they fixed
Their focus on the God that is for them. So my encouragement
Today is to stretch your faith in this season of uncertainty
Stretch your faith and don't get stuck on how but stay focused
On Who. Who your healer is, Who your provider is, Who is
The One who holds your future. The God who never changes,
The God who never leaves you nor forsakes you.
In the end of the story we read that three men were thrown
Into the fire, but as the opposition took a peek in they
Would see that a fourth, that resembled the Son of God, stood
In the middle of the fire with them. He protected them,
He securely took them through. The bible says that
Not a hair on their head was singed. They didn't eve smell
Like smoke. Sometimes, friends, God won't immediately
Deliver you. He won't always keep you from uncertainty.
But what He promises is that He will never leave you,
He will never forsake you, that He will be your source of
Peace, right in the middle of the challenge, in the middle
Of the struggle. So when you don't feel it, He's with you
When you're hurting, He's with you. Every trial, He is with You.
In the middle of every storm, He is with You. Oh and
Every high, He's with you, and every low, He is with You.
Oh friends, can we lift our voices, can we fix our eyes on Jesus
And can we declare together that in whatever may come
He is with us, come on, let's sing it!
